FIRCAD - The Fourth Industrial Revolution Consortium for Africa's Development, is a continental initiative aimed at fostering the development of fourth industrial revolution (4IR) economies of African countries. The Fourth Industrial Revolution (4IR) refers to the ongoing technological advancements that have the potential to profoundly transform societies and economies worldwide, including those in Africa.

The goals of FIRCAD are centered around empowering African countries to harness the opportunities presented by the 4IR,  to address their developmental challenges, and to accelerate the transformation of their economies and societies in the technologically-driven 4IR era.
